Carlos Szembek is presently a MFA candidate at Carnegie Mellon University. His main work currently focuses on bread as both a personal referent and a cultural metaphor. Recently these large-scale breadworks have been exhibited in Chicago, Pittsburgh, Akron and New Orleans.
